Robert D. Meyers, 55, of 4625 East County Road 160 South, LaGrange, Ind., passed away at 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, in Elkhart General Hospital.

Mr. Myers was employed as a sales representative for the Georgia Pacific Corporation in Elkhart, Ind.

He was born on Aug. 8, 1942, in South Bend, Ind., to the late Asa M. and Agnes M. (Quier) Myers, and had lived in South Bend until moving to LaGrange in 1991.

On Aug. 2, 1985, in LaGrange, he married Billie S. Blough Janovic, who survives.

He is also survived by two step-sons, Matthew Janovic and Michael Janovic, both of South Bend; a sister, Peg Clark of Osceola, Ind.; a nephew, Michael K. Myers of South Bend; and by four nieces, Victoria Clark of Osceola, Linda Deaton, Michele Clark and Kathy Harvel, all of South Bend.

 Mr. Myers was a member of the Theta XI Fraternity and  a member of Moose Lodge 1351 in LaGrange, and received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ball State University, Muncie, Ind.

Services will be at 7 p.m. on Friday in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Cremation will take place.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday in the Palmer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Leukemia Foundation.
