A proud graduate of South Bend Adams High School, Daniel's passion for innovation led him to a fulfilling career spanning over 37 years as a brake designer with Bendix, which later became Allied Signal, and then Honeywell, retiring in 1995. His dedication and expertise in his field were matched only by his love for his family and friends.
Daniel leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his beloved children, Megan (Tim) Bolenbaugh and Todd Bolenbaugh. His light will continue to shine through his granddaughter, Ava Bolenbaugh. He reunites in peace with his treasured wife, Marilee (Moe) Bolenbaugh, who preceded him in 2021 after a loving marriage that began on September 4, 1965. His parents, Harold and Ruth (Hively) Bolenbaugh, and his faithful dog, Daisy, also preceded him in passing.
As an avid NASCAR fan, Daniel relished the thrill of the race, sharing this enthusiasm with his good-natured companions.
