Rosemary Davis, 59, residing on Lakeview Drive, Vandalia, Mich., passed away at 9:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21, in her home.
Mrs. Davis was born on Oct. 31, 1940, in Mishawaka, Ind., to the late Melvin and Eva (Sword) Nieter, and lived in this community until 1974, moving to the Vandalia/Cassopolis area.
On March 2, 1968, in South Bend, Ind., she married James Davis, who survives.
Mrs. Davis is also survived by three daughters, Tammy S. Lenex of Edwardsburg, Mich., Penny Rae (Russell) Barber of Elkhart, Ind., and Shelia R. Payne of South Bend; two sons, Timothy A. (Mary) Brown of Cassopolis, Mich., and Todd M. Brown of Edwardsburg, Mich.; eight grandchildren; a sister, Carroll Gould of South Bend; and by a brother, John (Lucy) Nieter of South Bend.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 24. Rev. Greg Crump, pastor of South Side Church of God in South Bend, will officiate. Burial will be at a later date at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.
Her family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend.
