My beloved wife of 48 years died of a rare neurological disease. We always celebrated the anniversary of our first date, which was 54 years ago, on November 4, 1960, to the Adams/Central football game. In the last several months, she enjoyed having her sister, Verna Adams, read to her the diaries she kept during middle school and high school. Along with sharing a love for each other, we shared the experience of John Adams High School and friends and classmates. Thank you for being a part of our history.

Susan Adams Lumm January 2, 2015 SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA - Susan Adams Lumm, 71, of San Luis Obispo, passed away on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015. Sue was born in Racine, Wisconsin, and attended John Adams High School in South Bend, IN, where she met her beloved husband Steve, whom she married in 1966. They are the proud and loving parents of three children (Jeff Lumm, Mindy Lumm and Amy Baer), and three grandchildren (Caelum, Terra and Theo Baer). Sue graduated from Indiana University and was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. The Lumm family resided in Palo Alto, California, for 35 years before retiring in San Luis Obispo in 2006. Sue loved her family, faith, community, and derived great joy from her cats and historic home. She is also survived by her sisters -- Anita Gulin of Gothenberg, Sweden, Holly (Barc) Gano of Granville, Ohio, and Verna (John Boudett) Adams of San Anselmo, California -- and many nieces and nephews. We want to thank the many friends and caregivers who provided loving care and support.
