January 12, 1943 ~ April 3, 2025 82 Years Old
Vikki Ann Meehan, aged 82, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, in the same city where she first saw the world on January 12, 1943. A lifelong resident of South Bend, Vikki was the cherished daughter of the late Victor and Eva Benzur, and the beloved wife of the late Neil Meehan.
Vikki, a proud graduate of Adams High School, dedicated many years of service as a clerk in the retail industry, where her warm smile and kind demeanor were appreciated by all who crossed her path. She was a committed member of VFW Post #360, where she formed lasting friendships and served her community with pride.
She leaves behind her brother, Mark Benzur, along with a legacy of love, resilience, and a spirit of service that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Vikki's memory will be treasured and kept alive in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Palmer Funeral Homes – River Park Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Blessings upon blessings to everyone that knew Vicki. We were Classmates at John Adams but never developed a friendship. I hope that all take the time to many, many memories, laugh about the good times, cry and mourn the loss, but always remember. Vicki was a friend to many! We are sad because another Eagle has flown into the clouds. Rest In Peace Vicki...
