Daughter of Henry and Helen (Ollman) Taylor. On 21 March 1959 in South Bend, IN Janice married Kenneth Wayne Jones; the marriage ended in 1975.
SOUTH BEND - Janice K. Jones, age 70 of Grand Rapids, MI, formerly of South Bend, IN passed away Monday, February 23, 2009 at St. Mary's Health Care, Grand Rapids.
Janice is survived by her children; Kevin (Gail) Jones of Redford, MI, Karen Jones of Grand Rapids, MI, Brian (Kim) Jones of Dearborn Heights; father, Henry Taylor of Grand
Rapids, MI; and two grandchildren Keith & Scott Jones of Dearborn Heights, MI.
Her mother, Helen Taylor, preceded her in death.
Janice graduated in 1956 from John Adams High School, South Bend. She enjoyed her volunteer time at Crash's Landing, playing bingo at the Salvation Army, reading a good
book or doing a word search puzzle. She also enjoyed watching Chicago Cubs games during the summer.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. David Gerth, pastor of Zion United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will take place
in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend.

14 Mar 2009 at the funeral on Saturday, it was announced that Janice would be interred on Monday, 16 Mar at 1:00 PM. She had been creamated and the ashes are to be buried on a plot near where her mother, brother Eugene Henry, and grandparents are buried.
