FORT MYERS, Fla. — JoAnn (Borowski) Fabiszak, 76, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, in her home in Fort Myers.
She was born April 21, 1939, in South Bend, Ind., to LaVern and Irene (Vargo) Buss.
On Sept. 5, 1959, she married Eugene Borowski. He preceded her in death Feb. 10, 1991.
On Dec. 23, 2001, she married Ronald Fabiszak. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Christine (Joseph) Meyer of Elkhart, Ind., and Natalie (Rodney) Kahl of Bradley, Ill.; three stepchildren, Cindy (Rick) Kelver and Ronnie Fabiszak, both of South Bend, and Andy Fabiszak of Mishawaka, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
JoAnn had a passion for flowers and flower arranging. Her parents owned the former Riverside Floral. She worked at Homemaker Shop and Gates Chevrolet before she retired to Fort Myers. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and at the beach, and watching cooking shows.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 S.R. 933, South Bend. Committal services and burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, Ind.
