Miss Susan G. Gaunitz

Word has been received of the death Thursday of Miss Susan G. Gaunitz, 38, of Lighthouse Point, Fla., formerly of South Bend. She died in a Lighthouse Point hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in South Bend and had lived here until 1959. A graduate of Western Michigan University, she taught in elementary schools in Pompano Beach and Orlando, Fla., and Wood Dale, Ill.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William F. Gaunitz Sr. of Lighthouse Point, and a brother, William F. Jr. of Boca Raton, Fla.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the R. Jay Kraeer Funeral Home, Pompano Beach, with Rev. Dwayne I. Black of the First United Presbyterian Church of Lighthouse Point officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s church or favorite charity.
