--Roger J. Manges, 41, of 1901 E. Donald, former president of the Northern Indiana Center of the Blind, Inc., died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Hospital after a one week illness.
--In March, he was elected vice president of the organization and served as a member of its board of directors. He was a counselor with the Indiana Rehabilitation Services for the Blind.
--He was born on Oct. 31, 1938, in Elkhart and lived here most of his life. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Margaret Manges. His father, the late George Manges, died Aug. 27, 1979.
--Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Daniel Fowler, D.D., will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood.
--He graduated from Adams High School in 1957 and Ball State University in 1961.
