SOUTH BEND, IN - Helen Rose (Names) Decker, born January 27, 1939, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2018 at SJRMC.

Helen left a wonderful mark on the world. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. As her family, we could not be any prouder of the Mother, Grandmother, and PERSON that she was. Unselfish throughout her entire life!

Helen Decker was born and raised in northern Indiana where she worked for over 40 years for the St. Joseph County Coroners office and as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Louis H. Grwinski. Helen received a key to the city of South Bend upon her retirement for her years of dedication.

Helen was undoubtedly met at the gates of Heaven by her youngest granddaughter, Karli Nevaeh. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Decker-Griffin; son, Sean Decker (Melisa); their father, Jay Decker; and Helen's four grandchildren, Ashley Griffin, Brice Stettler, Tate Stettler, and Lilian Rose Decker

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2-4PM at the Country Inn and Suites at 420 West University Drive, Mishawaka IN 46545.
