Stephen W.A. Pickering, 65, of McKinley Highway, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away of natural causes on Sunday, Nov. 21, in Saint Joseph County Hospice House, South Bend, Ind.
Stephen was born Aug. 27, 1939, to Glenn and Vesper (Weber) Pickering. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, and a high school graduate from John Adams.
Surviving are his daughters, Jill (Dan) DeLoddere of Mishawaka and Nanette (Don) Sharpe of Mishawaka; a sister, Jan Vinci of Great Falls, Mont.; and five grandchildren, Josh DeLoddere, Ashley DeLoddere, Kendal Sharpe, Taylor Sharpe and Courtney Sharpe. He is also survived by his dear friends, Jay, Liz, Marcie and the gang from Squads.
Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, Ind. Cremation services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph County Hospice House.
