In Memory

Cynthia Dee Miller
May 22, 1948 ~ August 17, 2026 (age 78)
Cynthia Dee Miller, 78, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026, in the city where she was born and spent much of her life. She was born on May 22, 1948, in South Bend to the late Manly and Merle (Witham) Miller.
Cynthia was a proud graduate of John Adams High School and carried herself with a quiet strength and warmth that touched the lives of many. She built her career as a hairstylist, a profession that allowed her to connect with people in a personal and meaningful way. She enjoyed traveling to hair conventions and appreciated the friendships, inspiration, and sense of community that came with her work.
Family was central to Cynthia’s life, and she cherished the time she spent with those she loved most. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Williams of Mishawaka, IN, and her son, George Niblick of South Bend, IN. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Elayzha, Eric (Jackie), Dana, Madalyn, and Damien, as well as three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Theo, and Nico. Cynthia is also survived by her sister, Krista (Dan) Kurtz; sisters-in-law, Vicky Hill and Kathy Niblick; as well as her nephews, David (Amber) and Eric (Erica). Her family brought her great joy, and she especially treasured being with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Cynthia loved the beach and found happiness in the beauty and calm it offered. Her cottage in South Haven, Michigan, was a special place to her, and she enjoyed the memories made there over the years. She also had an enormous sweet tooth and never passed up a treat she enjoyed. Cynthia was obsessed Mustang convertibles, which she owned throughout her life, and that admiration reflected her appreciation for style, character, and a little bit of boldness.
Cynthia’s presence will be deeply missed, but the love she shared and the memories she created will remain a lasting comfort to all who knew her.
In keeping with Cynthia’s wishes, cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time. Palmer Funeral Home—River Park Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

I try to visit the Adams home page and check the updates often. I was shocked to see the passing of Cyndee Miller. I remembrer her as vivacious and always in good spirits. I knew her sister Pam (now Krista) and here parents Merle and Manly. My condolences to the family and friends.
