Michael J. Rankin of South Bend, 64, passed away October 13, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albertus John and Betty Fay Rankin; and sister, Sue Rankin. Mike is survived by two daughters, Crystal Rankin of KS and Mary Rankin of GA; his twin sister, Pat Herban of South Bend; and three other sisters, Sharon Finn of South Bend, Joan Lytle of Elkhart and Nancy Sabbe of Mishawaka.

He was a proud Marine and will be greatly missed.
