Lila J. Kennedy

Lila J. Kennedy, 77, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Ernestine M. Raclin House – Center for Hospice Care, Mishawaka, IN.  Lila was born on September 2, 1944 in South Bend to the late Theron and Helen (Sander) Kennedy, and has been a lifelong resident of this area.

Lila worked for 33 years as a Bookkeeper for Food Services at The University of Notre Dame.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gertrude Barrier, and her brother, Robert Kennedy.  She is survived by her nephew, David Glasco of Mishawaka.

Memorial services for Lila will be at 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM prior to the service.  Memorial contributions may be given to Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.  Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
