Ernest M. Freymuth
May 2, 1944 - July 16, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Earnest M. Freymuth, 54, of South Bend, Ind., passed away at 6:50 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, in Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Freymuth was born on May 2, 1944, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident. He was em-ployed as an instructor at Ivy Tech State College.
He is survived by his parents, Earnest A. and Elaine A. (Bella) Freymuth of South Bend; his fiancee, Karen Reed of South Bend; a daughter, AnnMarie (Craig) Ferris of South Bend; two sons, Kenneth (Serena) Freymuth of Annandale, Minn., and Jeff (Tracy) Freymuth of South Bend; two stepdaughters, Leslye Newman and Heidi Reed, both of Nashville, Tenn.; and by seven grandchildren.
Mr. Freymuth was a Vietnam veteran and was a member of the German Club. He was an avid league bowler at Chippewa Bowl, Beacon Bowl, P.N.A. Club and the German Club. He enjoyed spending time working with his computer, traveling, and playing with his dog ''Bethany.''
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 20, in St. Stephen's Church. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive.
