Phillis Mae Turley

Phillis M. Turley, age 70, of Richmond, Indiana and formerly of South Bend, IN,passed away peacefully at 7:25 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN.
Mrs. Turley was born on November 24, 1945 in Henning, Tennessee to the late Alvin and Ora Lee (Taylor) Barnes. She spent most of her life in South Bend, but moved to Richmond a year and a half ago.
On July 28, 1979, in South Bend, IN, Phillis married Louis Turley, Jr., who survives her. She retired in 2011, after 22 years of service, as a secretary at Bendix in South Bend.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Louis Turley, Jr. of Toledo, OH; her son, Michael L. Turley of Richmond, IN, and three granddaughters; Audreana Anderson, Malia and Lyrik Turley.
Phillis was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services for Phillis M. Turley will be at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, Indiana. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 a.m. to12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in South Bend, IN.
