Sandra Kay (Morgan) Snider

Sandra K. Snider, 79, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on May 17, 2024. Born on November 11, 1944, in the same city she would live her entire life, Sandra was the daughter of the late Earl and Nannie Morgan.

A graduate of Adams High School Class of 1963, Sandra made lasting friendships and remained an active member of her community. She dedicated years of service as a clerk in a local convenience store before her retirement in 1981.

Sandra was a loving wife to her husband Richard Snider for 21 years until his passing in 2003, a caring mother to Trudy (Nakia) Herron, Danny Peters, and Michael Hoover, all of South Bend. She delighted in the role of grandmother to her three grandchildren. Her involvement with the Leighton Center and Second Wind displayed her commitment to civic engagement. Volunteering at Real Services was one of the many ways she shared her warm spirit with those around her.

Per Sandra’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Leighton Center, 615 N Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46601 or Second Wind Fund, 303 E. 17th Ave., Suite 400, Denver, CO 80203. Palmer Funeral Homes – River Park Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
