Sally Ann Ehlers (Dreisbach)

Sally Ann Ehlers Dreisbach

1949 ~ October 20, 1967

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sally Ann Ehlers Dreisbach, who passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the age of 76. Sally was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and loyal friend. A woman whose strength, warmth, Christian faith and deep love for her family touched every life she encountered.

Sally had a big personality and was always authentically herself. She faced life with resilience and fierce devotion to those she loved. She was the steady heart of her family, always there with open arms, wise words, advice, great stories, and a comforting presence. No matter the circumstances, her strength and beliefs never wavered, and her love never faltered.

A true lover of life’s simple pleasures, Sally found joy in strong coffee, country music, morning conversations, watching sports, her plants, gardening, her dog Willie, and time spent with her loved ones.

She often joked with a knowing smile,"You’re gonna miss me when I’m gone." And she was right. Sally Ann Ehlers Dreisbach will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, in the traditions she started, and every moment spent sharing stories over a cup of coffee or a good meal.

She is survived by her children — Molly, Scott, Andy, Katie, and Mitch — and by her twelve beloved grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as “Mugga.” Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on through each of them.

In keeping with her wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held in South Bend, Indiana, in July of 2026. The family will share all details once plans are finalized.
