Marilyn K. (Fisher) Lisenko, 75, of Mishawaka passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday October 17, 2024.
Marilyn was born on September 12, 1949, in Niles, MI to the late Jack and Frances (Danielson) Fisher.
Marilyn met and married Roger Lisenko on April 10, 1976, in South Bend, sharing 48 years of marriage.
Marilyn was the Director of Education for Vogue Beauty College, taking pride in educating and mentoring young women.
Marilyn was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her greatest joy was watching her children and grandchildren grow. She always put others first and would do anything for anyone. She was a spitfire with an infectious smile and personality. She enjoyed shopping for the kids and grandkids.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Roger, her children; John (Annette) Birong of Milford, Dianne Birong of Granger, Stefanie Lisenko of South Bend, Heather Lisenko of Goshen, and Haley (Derek Chapa) Lisenko of Mishawaka, as well as her grandchildren; Brandon, Morgan, Carter, Carmyn, Kailo, Mikyla, Gabriel, Cruzier, Mya, Izaiah, Madison, and Michael, as well as 5 great-grandchildren. Her siblings: Janet (Dave) Herren and Dale Fisher also survive.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rick Fisher.
Visitation for Marilyn will be held from 3pm-7pm on Wednesday October 23, 2024, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend.
