Terry Lee Batten, 75, passed away on February 19, 2026, in Mishawaka, Indiana. Born on May 6, 1950, Terry lived a life marked by dedication to his family, career, and community.
Terry garduated from John Adams High School in 1969.
Terry proudly served his country in the Air Force for four years before embarking on an impactful career as Director of Support Services at St. Joe Regional Medical Center in South Bend for over three decades.
A devoted family man, Terry cherished time spent at home in Niles with his beloved wife of 57 years, Marcia. Being with his family brought him immense joy, especially as he watched his granddaughters grow up. Terry was known for his warm personality and gift for conversation. He was always ready to share a story or lend an ear.
Terry is survived by his sons Greg (wife Kris) of Rochester and Jeff (wife Jen) of Osceola; granddaughters Kim (fiancé Andrew Dane), Emma, and Abby (fiancé Austin Clark); and great-grandson Aaron Clark. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcia; parents Vernon and Esther Batten; sister Cheryl McCarthy; brother Dennis Batten; grandson Aaron Batten (parents Jeff and Jen); and many others who held special places in his heart.
A private service will be held at a later date to honor Terry.
