Jerry and I had been good friends back in those high school years. I remember he had gotten a good position with the Gasoline Company that had the contract for the Toal Road sites. He was my Best Man at our Wedding back in 1967. I left for Vietnam 15 days later. I found out when I returned from overseas that Jerry had apparently committed suicide sometime during that year I was over there. I haven't had a chance to talk with his wife Karen and she's not living in the area. A sad ending to a good friend.
