Patricia A. (Newingham) Owens, age 64, passed away Thursday March 15, 2012 at 7:50 PM in Miller's Merry Manor Warsaw, Indiana. She was born February 22, 1948 in Risco, MO to Obie "Pete" and Mary Genevieve (Jackson) Newingham. Her stepfather was Jessie Whitaker.

She was united in marriage to Dallas Owens in Warsaw, IN on May 22, 1967. Patricia was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Claypool, IN and was a Day Care provider for twenty-five years.

Pat is survived by her husband Dallas Owens of Warsaw, IN; daughters Missy (spouse Charlie) Holbrook and Joni Owens of Warsaw, IN and Julie (spouse John) Jeffries of Winona Lake, IN; sons Jody (spouse Terry) Owens of Winona Lake, IN and Dewayne (spouse Holly) Owens of Warsaw, IN; a sister Brenda (spouse Norman) Grubbs of Warsaw, IN; a brother Stan (spouse Dana) Newingham of Evansville, IN; a half-brother Darrell (spouse Glenda) Newingham of Dayton, OH; step-sisters Pauline (spouse Leonard) Blankenship of Silver Lake, IN, Deloris (spouse Reverend Ervin) Bradley of Hamlet, IN, Lorene (spouse Jeff) Moore of Warsaw, IN, Geraldine Slaymaker of Warsaw, IN and Mary Coning of North Manchester, IN; step-brothers Pastor William (spouse Lora) Whitaker of Warsaw, IN, J.B. (spouse Cindy) Whitaker of North Manchester, IN, Pastor Frank (spouse Lisa) Whitaker of Akron, IN and Jerry Whitaker of Warsaw, IN; grandchildren Dillon and Chase Holbrook of Warsaw, IN, Gage, Mason, and Mollie Owens of Winona Lake, IN; Nicole, Sarah and Jaxson Jeffries of Winona Lake, IN, and Trevor and Alyssa Owens of Warsaw, IN. Her parents, stepfather and two stepbrothers preceded her.

Services are scheduled for Monday March 19, 2012 at 12:30 PM in First Freewill Baptist Church CR 700 South Claypool, IN. Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday March 18 at First Freewill Baptist. Pastor Terry Bradford will officiate the services. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw, IN. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is in charge of services.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Dillon Holbrook, Chase Holbrook, Gage Owens, Mason Owens, Jaxson Jeffries, Trevor Owens; nephew Ricky Owens and family friend Kenton Shepherd.
