NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Thomas M. Tom Witt, 66, of North Augusta, beloved husband of forty-three years to Connie McKee Witt, entered into rest on Thursday, March 29th, 2012.
Born in South Bend, IN, he was a son of the late Marshall and Marjorie Trumbull Witt. A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Tom and Connie had been residents of North Augusta since 1996 and were dedicated members of Victory Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. In addition to his beloved wife and parents, family members include siblings, Thyra Sallows, Marsha Rufer and David Witt, all of South Bend and Michael Witt, Mena, AR.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, April 2nd, 2012, at 2 o'clock at Victory Baptist Church, North Augusta, with Pastor Chris Brown and Dr. R. Larry Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta. Please visit our website to share memories of Tom.
At the request of the family, if so desired, memorials in memory of Tom may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
