It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Stephen Preston Allen, age 78, who departed this life on December 1, 2025, Born on December 24, 1946, in Bloomington, Indiana, to the late Lloyd and Doris (Hall) Allen, Stephen was a beloved son, brother, and accomplished professional.

Stephen dedicated his career to the field of engineering, where he made significant contributions as an Independent Engineer. He was known for his expertise and professionalism, employing his skills with pride throughout his career. He held a Master’s Degree, a testament to his commitment to education and his profession.

He is survived by his brother, Richard (Jo) Allen, who cherishes their memories together. Stephen was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Allen.

Stephen will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate to know him.
