Anna Rose Johnsen

Apr. 16, 1924 – Jan. 10, 1988

Services for Anna Rose Johnsen, 63, of 1610 E. Ewing Ave., who died at 3:50 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph’s Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Matthew Cathedral.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Johnsen was a former clerk at L.S. Ayres Co. She was born April 16, 1924, in Vincennes, Ind., and had lived in South Bend for 48 years, coming from Vincennes. On June 17, 1950, in South Bend, she married Robert Johnsen, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Pamela Jo Mikusak of South Bend; a son, Gary M. of Logansport; two grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Edsall of Elkhart; and her mother, Rose Dattilo of South Bend.

She was a member of the Rosary Society of the church.
