Joyce Davis

Joyce Elaine Davis, 58, of Helmen Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away following a brief illness at 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 2, at Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
She was born on May 14, 1940, in Mishawaka, Ind., to John and Mildred Bushmann.
She is survived by her former husband, John Richard Davis; their daughter, Becky (John) Davis of Mishawaka; and a son, Michael (Joyce) Davis of Granger, Ind.; and by her grandchildren, Emily, Brandon, Jessica and Monica.
Mrs. Davis was an administrative secretary for Cole Associates of South Bend. She was past president of the National Association of Women in Construction (N.A.W.I.C.), and was also a member of the Harris Prairie Church of Christ, Granger, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. today and one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
