Allan Edward Campbell, 85, passed away on February 4, 2026. He was born on July 28, 1940, in South Bend, Indiana, to Leslie and Edna Campbell.

    He graduated from John Adams High School in 1958.

   Allan proudly served in the Army Reserve and spent his working years as a laborer at Honeywell, where he remained until his retirement. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who valued providing for his family.

   He is survived by his children, Cathy Young, Scott (Pamela) Campbell, and Edward Campbell; his grandchildren, Tara (Kirkland), David, Zachary, and Brian; his great-grandchildren, Victoria(Spencer), Amaya, Chance,  Jakira, Kiri (Daniel), Kirky, and Abby; and his great-great-grandchildren, Lily, Leia, Oliver, Evelyn, Penelope, Kyland, Ophelia, Ke’ari, Julian, and Stevie. He is also lovingly remembers by his nieces and nephews , Diane, Jolene, Ernest, and Brian Jr. 

   He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Brian Campbell.

   Allan had a deep love for bluegrass music and found joy both listening to it and playing it, especially on his mandolin. He also enjoyed playing cornhole, going on vacation, and, most of all, spending time with his family. His love of music, laughter, and togetherness will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

    A lifelong football fan, Allan had a special love for Notre Dame football, cheering them on with enthusiasm season after season. He also found simple joy in life’s quieter moments, such as sharing coffee lattes with his granddaughter, taking long walks along the river, and standing with his face turned to the sun whenever he had the chance.

   A visitation for Allan will take place on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home.  No formal service is set at this time. A burial at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park will take place at a later date. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to the Campbell family.
