Patrick William Donahue, 62, of Granada Hills Drive, Columbus, Ohio, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, in his home.

He was born to William and Margaret Ann (Miller) Donahue on Sept. 22, 1940, in South Bend, Ind.

After graduating from John Adams High School, he went on to Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. His father preceded him in death.

Patrick was a sales representative for SAS Shoemaker, and his territories included Indiana and western Kentucky. He was a member of the Church of the Messiah United Methodist in Westerville, Ohio, and was a former member of the BPOE in Belleville, Ill.

He was also the past president of the Tri-State Shoe Travelers and a member of the National Shoe Travelers Association.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoyed all sports, especially Notre Dame football, fishing and golf. He enjoyed playing bridge and poker, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret, who lives in South Bend; his wife, Patricia (Hall); four sons, Kevin (Jane) of Naperville, Ill., Keith (Kim) of Shiloh, Ill. Brian (Melissa) of Mason, Ohio, and Todd of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Kirk (Pamela) Smith of Franklin, Mass.; one brother, Jerry Donahue of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and by four loving grandchildren, Jack, Paige, Mitch and Cameron Donahue.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, in the Lucas Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Friends may call today, March 14, from 3 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorials may be sent to the Messiah United Methodist Church and/or to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
