Mrs. Janet Dolores Wegenka, age 81 of Roy’s Road, Blairsville, formerly of Port Charlotte, FL., passed away peacefully on Saturday May 22, 2021 at her home following an extended illness. Janet was born on May 11, 1940 in Crescent, OH., daughter of the late Martin Gersey & Joann Visich. Janet loved to read, crochet, and gardening. She loved life in the mountains; it brought her great joy. Janet was also an avid listener of classical music.
Survivors include two daughters & one son-in-law; Teresa Kindig of Blairsville, Kristin & Jeff Clauser of Grabill, IN., one brother & sister-in-law; Martin & Patty Gersey of South Bend, IN., two sisters; Tina Stedman of South Bend, IN., Joanne Schmidt of Athens, GA., and two grandchildren; Katherine & Matthew Clauser.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a Dementia foundation of your choice in Janet’s memory.
