Janet Marie Light

Miss Janet Marie Light, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Light, of 3000 E. Jefferson Blvd., died at 1:45 a.m. today in her home. She had been ill several weeks with a kidney ailment. Light is the owner of the Light Co., Inc.
Miss Light was a senior at John Adams High School. She had been enrolled in a college preparatory course. She was affiliated with the school’s yearbook, the Album, and the newspaper, the Tower.
She was born in South Bend, Nov. 29, 1940. Surviving are her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Ann Baldinger of Little Rock, Ark., and Sara Jo, at home; and three grandparents, Mrs. Alice Light, of Liverpool, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. Prosper Meuleman, of South Bend. The body was taken to the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home. Morton B. Kegan, a Christian Science reader, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
