SOUTH BEND - James E. Toepp, 53, of Chicago, formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday in his home after an illness. Mr. Toepp was a management consultant in the insurance business.
He was born April 30, 1940, in South Bend. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Creditor Toepp of Chicago, his mother, Ida Toepp of South Bend; a sister, Paula Toepp; and two brothers, Burton and Thomas.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Ita Catholic Church, Chicago. Gravesite services and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today in John E. Maloney Co., 1359 W. Devon Ave. , Chicago.
