Dr. Leonard Barack, 29, of Danville, Ill., formerly of South Bend, died at 6:50 a.m. Sunday at the University Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, after an illness of several weeks.
He was a doctor of clinical psychology in Danville, Ill. Born on March 23, 1952, in South Bend, he had lived here most of his life.
He was a 1970 graduate of John Adams High School and a 1974 graduate of the University of Chicago. He was a 1978 graduate of Harvard University Medical School, and did post graduate work for a year at the University of Miami (Fla.). He completed his residency and internship in clinical psychology at the Veterans Hospital, Danville.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max G. Barack of South Bend; and a brother, Alan of Schaumburg, Ill.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood. Rabbi Nathan A. Barack, his uncle, of Sheboygan, Wis., will officiate. Burial will be in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery.
