SOUTH BEND – Richard A. Burke, 67, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Christmas Eve Monday, December 24, 2018 at his home.  Richard was born on November 28, 1951 in South Bend to the late Robert Burke and Shirley (Joast) Burke.  He worked for many years as a truck driver with St. Joseph County.  He is survived by his son, Jeremy (Angie) Burke of Allen Park, Michigan.  He was preceded in death by several siblings.  As Richard requested, there will be no services.  Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
