William Michael McCloughan

William M. McCloughan, 44, of Leet Rd., Niles, Mich., died July 20, doing what he loved, sailing on Lake Michigan. William was born Dec. 29, 1951, in Elkhart, Ind. He lived in Niles for the last five years, coming from South Bend. He was employed as a union carpenter for Casteel Construction, working at Notre Dame University for the last five years.
William was a member of Carpenters Union Local 413, South Bend, and attended the Cornerstone Community Church of Granger, Ind. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
William is survived by his father, William E. McCloughan of Granger, Ind.; his mother, Delores J. Witwer of Naples, Fla.; two daughters, Shea McCloughan of South Bend, Ind. and Carrie McCloughan of Plymouth, Ind.; a son, Chad McCloughan of South Bend, Ind.; and a grandchild, Taiylor Michele Horn. He is also survived by two sisters, Karen Sue Carr of Indianapolis, Ind., and Katherine Ann McCloughan of South Bend, Ind.; and a brother, Peter J. McCloughan of Granger, Ind.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., today, and one hour prior to services on Saturday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, Ind.
