Bruce G. Quick

Bruce Quick, 74, of Mishawaka, passed away on September 3, 2026. Bruce was born on July 13, 1952, in South Bend, Indiana, to Charles and Carolyn Quick. A lifelong resident of the area, Bruce attended John Adams High School in South Bend, and later went on to work for Penn High School, in Mishawaka.

On October 23, 1976, Bruce married Kathleen Olmstead, who preceded him in death on November 26, 2013.

Bruce was a personable and well-known man who could truly be described as a "man about town." Everywhere Bruce went, from the grocery store to the bank, people remembered him and enjoyed seeing him. His friendly personality and ability to connect with others made a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Bruce enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a devoted Chicago Bears fan. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, the friendships he made throughout the community.

Bruce is survived by his children, Kyle Quick and Brandon (Stacey) Quick; his grandchild, Mazzy Quick; and his sister, Emma Quick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carolyn Quick; his beloved wife, Kathleen Quick; and his brother, Boyd Quick.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00am, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 West 8th Street, Mishawaka, Indiana 46544. Services will follow at 11:00 am, also in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bruce's honor to the St. Joseph County Humane Society
