SOUTH BEND - Laurie Ann Smith, 63, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at her home. She was born on October 12, 1952, in Chicago, IL, to the late Donald Joseph and Marilyn Grace (Killackey) Rada Sr.

Laurie is survived by her son, Jason Smith of South Bend, IN; daughter, Tracy White of South Bend, IN; and two sisters, Kathleen (Michael) Boswell of Brentwood, TN, and Elizabeth (William III) Bell of Savannah, GA. She was preceded by her brother, Donald Joseph Rada Jr.

Laurie was an LPN working in nursing homes and the V.A. clinic in South Bend, IN.
