Services for Laurel I. Mitschelen, 52, of 3828 S. Michigan St., who died about 4:25 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s Medical Center after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Southside Church of God building fund.
Mr. Mitschelen was a tool designer for Skill Tools, Chicago. He was born Jan. 11, 1936, in Nappanee and moved to South Bend nine months ago from Wheeling, IL.
He is survived by three sisters, Janice Mitschelen of South Bend, Mary Woodcox of Nappanee and Betty Marshall of Richmond, Calif.; and his mother, Evelyn Mitschelen of South Bend. Mr. Mitschelen was a member of the church.
