Robert Osmon

July 4, 1936 - Nov. 5, 2018

SOUTH BEND, IN - Robert “Bob” A. Osmon, 82, passed away November 5, 2018 at Hearth at Juday Creek. He was born July 4, 1936 in Clinton, IN to the late Marvin & Francis (Swaim) Osmon.

On June 20, 1958 in South Bend he married Jeanne Zuhlke; she survives along with Christine (Joseph) Taylor; 2 brothers, Glenn (Carol) Osmon and Fred (Marilyn) Osmon; and 2 grandchildren, Regan Taylor and Brady Taylor.

Bob was a U.S. Navy Veteran, worked at Uniroyal for 37 years and later retired from the Mishawaka Sewer Department. He was an avid Purdue football fan and in his spare time, enjoyed golfing and working in his yard.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Keepsake Village and Stacy Hendricks (his home healthcare nurse). They truly are angels among us.

In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to Harbor Light Hospice.

Per his wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place. A private burial will take place at a later date in in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
