Jeffrey G. Hall 9/8/1963 - 12/27/2016
Jeffrey G. Hall, 53, of Granger, IN, passed away on Tuesday December 27, 2016, in St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
Jeff was born on September 8, 1963, in South Bend, IN, to John and Joellen (Davis) Hall Sr. On October 5, 1985, in South Bend, IN, Jeff was married to Carol (Simons), who survives. Jeff is also survived by their daughter, Karen Hall, of Granger, IN, his brother, John (Margie) Hall Jr., of Mishawaka, IN, and his mother, Joellen Fleming. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, John Hall Sr.
Jeff proudly served his country with the United States Navy on the Dwight D. Eisenhower. Jeff was a Master BMW Tech and was a dedicated employee with Basney Imports on 933 for many years. He enjoyed anything with racing or automotive. At a young age, he spent many hours with his dad repairing bikes. He always said he was fortunate to be able to do his hobby for a living. He was fortunate to be able to build and fabricate his own dragster and take it down the track for a few passes. Almost daily he enjoyed meeting a handful of friends at a local restaurant to drink coffee and un-wind from the day. Jeff was a big-time dog lover. Jeff battled with necrotizing pancreatitis for almost 2 years and fought hard all the way until the end.
A memorial service for Jeff will be held on Monday January 2, 2017, at 7 pm in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN, with a gathering 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, The National Pancreas Foundation, 3 Bethesda Metro Center, Suite 700 Bethesda, MD 20814.
