Kevin L. Riggs, 55, of South Bend, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born in South Bend on September 3, 1965, the son of Joseph Marvin Riggs and Joan (Higbee) Riggs. He graduated from John Adams High School with the Class of ‘81 and was employed in construction with Bradley Management in South Bend.

Forever young at heart, Kevin cherished the time he spent with his friends & family and always had fun with his nieces & nephews. He loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, and also enjoyed tailgating during Notre Dame games. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Riggs in 1995 and his brother, Mark Riggs in 2017.

He is survived by his mother, Joan Riggs of South Bend; brothers, Michael Riggs of South Bend and Gary Riggs of Mishawaka; and his very special sister, Donna (Lou) Olbinger of South Bend. Also surviving are his nieces & nephews: Alyssa Riggs, Nathan (Kaylee) Riggs, and Lisa Olbinger, all of Mishawaka; Shelby (Nelson) Danch and Jennifer Olbinger, both of South Bend; Jillian (Cory) Cook, Michael (Heather) Riggs, and Grace (John) Defee, all in Florida, and several great-nieces & nephews.
