JAMES BURTON LANE
Mar. 24, 1958 - Nov..16, 1976
James Burton Lane, 18, of 3401 Northside, died at 5 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital after a year's illness. Lane was a senior at John Adam's High School. Born in Mishawaka, he had lived here his lifetime.
Surviving are his parents, Gordon Lane of South Bend and Mrs. Nancy Lane of Mishawaka; a sister, Valarie of South Bend; a brother, Ryan of South Bend; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Seider of Niles.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in the St. Monica Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Rev. William Jarnowski, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the McGann Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
