Carol (Heisler) Hall

Carol Hall, ne Heisler, a South Bend native and John Adams High School graduate, died Nov. 1. She was 67. A University of Maryland graduate, Hall spent much of her life in Annapolis, Maryland and several memorable years in Port St. Joe, Florida. Hall sang in the choir at First United Methodist Port St. Joe and served as a tireless advocate in raising funds and awareness about triple negative breast cancer, the disease she heroically battled for the past three years.

She was an avid ice skater, often skating at the rink adjacent to Zion United Church of Christ which she attended as a child with parents John and Helen Heisler. Hall was also a talented pianist but reserved her greatest passion for her family, including her daughter Christine, son-in-law Scott and granddaughter Vivienne.

She is survived by a daughter, Christine, a granddaughter Vivienne, husband Joe and brothers, John and Steven.
