Ronnie Gene Thomas, 68, passed away at 10:15am on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Memorial Hospital.
Ronnie was born on August 16, 1952 to the late Harry and Luella (Jacobs) Thomas, Jr.
IN June of 2015, Ronnie married Anna (Craig). She survives along with children, Tawnia (Armando) Medrano of South Bend, Shilo Thomas of Bremen, and Cory (Jessica) Thomas of Cassopolis, MI; grandchildren, Miko Medrano, Micheal Thomas, Azia Thomas, Devin Medrano, Andrew Medrano, Gavin Thomas, Grason Thomas, and Brandon Tippy; great-grandchildren, Savannah Thomas, Rosabell Tindle, and Adalaide Thomas; sister, Pamela Babbs of South Bend; and brother, Steven Thomas of Niles.
Ronnie graduated from Adams High School. He honorably served his country, first in the United States Navy, then in the United States Army, and then in the United States National Guard.
Visitation will be from 1pm to 3pm on Friday, February 12, 2021 in Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN 46614. Military Honors will begin at 3pm on Friday in the funeral home.
