Dr. Dinah Graham-Maxwell

July 22, 1955 ~ February 8, 2025 (age 69)

Born Dinah Patrica Jones July 22, 1955 in South Bend, IN; Dinah attended Linden Elementary School and Graduated from Adams High School in South Bend, IN. Dinah loved God, music, family and education. She became an ordained Elder in September 2002, Licensed Evangelist in March 2011.  Her academic career: 1988-1990 (AA) Ivy Tech Associate Degree in Information data management and accounting; 2006-2008 (BBA) Davenport University bachelor’s degree in marketing management and general Marketing; 2008-2010 (MA) master’s degree in ministry and theology; 2010-2011 Erskine Biblical and Theological Seminary (PhD) Doctrine of Philosophy Theological and Ministerial.

Dr. Dinah Graham-Maxwell worked at the University of Notre Dame for six years as an Alumni Coordinator. Her talents, gifts and passion lead her to be a Member of the National Convention of Gospel Chorus and Choirs, the Echoes of glory Hilltop Sunrise Committee, National Choir director Songwriter. She was the Musician of countless churches near and far.

She leaves to cherish her memory Two Daughters: Lakeisha Ann Graham (South Bend) LaShawnda Patrica Maxine Graham (Indianapolis) Five grandchildren DeAsia Graham (Indianapolis) Jazmyne Vann-Mincy (Indianapolis) Carreon Underwood (Indianapolis) James Vann-Mincy Jr., Shawn Miller (Indianapolis) and Two great grandchildren Dimitri Graham and Xiomara Brown (Indianapolis) Two Brothers: Ralph B Jones (South Bend) and Gregory Jones (Indianapolis) Two Sisters: Loretta Hackney (South Bend) and Laura (Harold)Fowlkes (Chicago), One Bonus Daughter: Lavern Ware (South Bend) One Foster Sister Clarissa Jeanne (Strong/Banks) Plair and Five special friends: Sharron Love-Clark (Wayne) Minnie Baynham (Muncie, IN) Nancy Jones (South Bend) Celecia Brown (Nashville Tennessee) Bernice Mance (Indianapolis) and a large host is cousins, nieces, nephews, church family and friends that are near and dear to her heart.
Dinah is preceded in death by her parents Pinkie Starr (John) Robert Lee Jones (Lucille) Brothers: Ronald (Money) Jones, Robert Lee Jones Jr, Joe Brantley; Sisters: Shirley Ann Jones, Kathy Jones, Brenda Leflore, Susan McGalliard, BettyJo Jones, Jackie Foster, Theresa Hackney, Frances McKinney and Foster mother Dorthy (Banks) Coleman, Husbands: Elder Connie Vann Graham and Valdez Maxwell.

The Celebration of life will take place 11AM on Saturday February 22, 2025 with a viewing one-hour prior at Life Changers Church 2705 Marquette Blvd So. Bend, IN. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery lead by a motorcycle hearse (local riders are encouraged to join). Arrangements are entrusted to www.boydandsonfuneralhome.com where condolences may be shared.
