Mark Douglas McClure

June 30. 1955 - March 21. 2024

Mark Douglas McClure, 68 of Chandler. Arizona passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday. March 21. 2024.  Mark was born on June 30, 1955. in South Bend. Indiana to William McClure and Ruth (Heiermann) McClure. Mark grew up in South Bend, Indiana. He was a graduate of John Adam's High School and had a long career with Honeywell. an Aerospace Technology company. as a Senior Systems Business Analyst.

On September 6, 1980. Mark married the love of his life. Rebecca (Switalski). Mark and Rebecca were married for 43 wonderful and loving years. Mark and Rebecca raised their family in South Bend. Indiana then made their new home in Chandler. Arizona in 2003. They spent the best days going for tandem bike rides, enjoying the sunshine, and spoiling their beloved Shih Tzu, Chewie,

Mark is survived by his wife, Rebecca McClure, as well as their children: daughter. Jennifer (Steve) Fielder and son, Nicholas (Christine) McClure, his precious grandchildren: Stevie, Addasyn, and his sweet Ave Lou. He is also survived by his sister. Patricia (Romero) lasso. brother-in-law, Scott McKibben. and stepmother, Cyrile McClure.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents William and Ruth McClure and sister. Karen McKibben. 

Mark was a great man who was smart, a tinkerer that could fix and rebuild anything, and he was a big kid at heart who loved an adventure. So many memories we will forever keep in our hearts. He will be forever loved and always remembered. There are no final goodbyes for us. just a 'bye for now-. A private celebration of Mark's life will be held at a later date.
