Amy Knox-Alford – Kalamazoo, Michigan, left this world on March 21, 2017.  Amy was a scientist and worked for the Pfizer Corporation.  Her hobbies included stamping, cooking and reading.  Amy leaves behind her husband Phillip, one son Ian and three stepchildren, Lyndell, Michael and Jenny, along with 7 step-grandchildren.

KALAMAZOO - Amy K. Alford passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 21, 2017, at her home. Amy was born December 17, 1955, in South Bend, IN, the daughter of the late Allan and Lois (Miller) Knox.

She was employed as a scientist with the Pfizer Corporation for 15 years. Amy was a very creative person and enjoyed stamping, cooking, and reading. On September 19, 1992, she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Phillip Marks, who survives.

Also surviving are her son, Ian (Kirsten) Alford; stepchildren, Lyndell Marks, Michael (Amy) Marks, Jenny Alford; 7 step-grandchildren; brothers, Allan Knox II, and Douglas Knox. There will be no visitation or services.

Memorials may be directed to any local public library.
