Edward David Peters
November 18, 1955 ~ March 09, 2026
Edward (Eddie) David Peters, born on November 18, 1955, in Fayette County, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in Randolph County, North Carolina, at the age of 70. Eddie spent his youth and early years in South Bend, Indiana. He graduated from John Adams High School in 1974. Eddie proudly served in the United States Air Force. He really enjoyed operating the refueling boom on a KC-135.
Eddie was a lover of Jesus, motorcycles, German Shepards, kayaking, guns and life. He never let common sense get in the way of a good time and lived his life to the fullest. He never met a stranger and gave “big love” to all. His favorite phrase was “I’ve never been happier than I am right now”.
Eddie was most proud of his children and grandchildren and service with the United States Airforce. He was later a machinist, and although he was a specialist in his craft he worked to live.
Edward was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Wrenn Robins and his father James Lee Peters. He is survived by his mother Marguerite Peters (Pepin), daughter Amy Bell, son Joseph Peters, grandchildren Michael and Rhylan Peters, sister Cass Peters and brother Sean Peters.
A memorial service to honor Edward's life will be held in South Bend, IN on March 22nd. He is remembered fondly and missed deeply.
