Carol Lee Hinebaugh

SOUTH BEND - Carol Hinebaugh, age 80, passed away on June 16, 2015. She was born on January 3, 1935, in South Bend, IN, to her parents, Pat and Marge (Koehler) Bourdon, who have preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband since 1957, Kenneth Hinebaugh; sister, Patty (Dr. Thomas) Troegar; loving son, Kent (Patricia) Hine-baugh; grandsons, Eric and Alex Hinebaugh; sister-in-law, Jule (Late Thomas) Keeler; and 9 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and James Inch.
Carol graduated from South Bend John Adams High School Class of 1953, and Indiana University in 1958. She taught kindergarten in East Chicago for 35 years at Carrie Gosch, Field, Lincoln, and Franklin. Carol retired in 1992 and became a full-time resident of Ft. Myers, FL, since 2005. Carol will be greatly missed by special friends, Claudia Carr, Sandra Glenton, Betty Holzbach, Val Lukawski, and Mayann Magurany.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN, with Pastor Bassam Abdallah officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
