SOUTH BEND - Dr. David S. Eberly Sr., 60, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Sunday in his home after an illness.
Dr. Eberly retired from the Air Force as a dentist. He was born May 22, 1935, in South Bend. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Eberly of Tallahassee; two daughters, Mary Frances Eberly of Tallahassee and Ann Eberly Hennessy of Orlando, Fla.; a son, David S. Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren; and a brother, Donald W. of South Bend.
He was a member of the Retired Officers Association.
Services were held today in Pisgah United Methodist Church, Tallahassee. Burial was in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Culley's Meadowwood Funeral Home, Tallahassee, handled arrangements.
