Thomas Charles Cutler

Thomas C. Cutler, 93 years old, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, September 06, 2024 at Center for Hospice Care, Raclin House in Mishawaka, IN.
Thomas “Tom” was born on September 01, 1931 in Mishawaka, IN to Louis N. and Beatrice (Warner) Cutler. On May 22, 1954, Thomas married his loving wife of 70 years, Betty Jane (Wegner) Cutler. Tom was preceded in death by; his parents, sisters, Elaine Holewynski and Margaret Bradfield, and a brother, Robert Cutler.
Tom is survived by the love of his life, Betty Jane Cutler; daughters, Sharon (Bill) Kaminski, Karen (Brian) Hunter, Susan (Barry) Shriver, and a son, Jeffery (Ellen) Cutler; grandchildren, Joseph (Nicole) DeMeo, Amberleigh (Bryan) Cygan, Jennifer (Dustin Yontz) Wyckoff, Shannon (Bradley) Hawkins, Dustin (Lisa) Shriver, James Cutler, Clinton Cutler, Jonathon Cutler, Steven (Kelly) Wiltfong, Roger (Alli) Wiltfong, Jody (Thomas) Braun, Keelie Hunter; 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Tom graduated from Adams High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Tom worked for NIPSCO for forty years. He was an avid Notre Dame Football and NASCAR fan. Tom and his wife volunteered at Hamilton Grove in the commissary and he would help with the wood working for craft projects. As a couple, they enjoyed traveling and camping. He was the Wagon Master for their Jayco camping group. Tom was a very talented wood worker, who built many pieces of furniture for his family passing his love for woodworking on to his son and grandchildren. Tom loved having his family around him, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 10:00am-11:00am, with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Christ the King Catholic Church.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tom’s name may be made to the Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
